September 2005 Newsletter
There was a motion and a second to approve the minutes from the August meeting.
Warren reported on the bank account status, there was a motion and a second to approve the report.
Conservation: There was nothing new to report.
Youth: There was nothing new to report.
Federation: Jeff C. has been attending the meetings in Boise on the third Thursday of the month. We are very close to 500 members in the State Federation.
New business:
• We will begin having a raffle at the club meetings starting in October. Club member are asked to bring a small item for the raffle.
• A motion was made to donate some money from the conservation fund to the people in New Orleans – Jeff C. will check the by-laws and we will vote at the October meeting if it is allowed.
• CALLING ALL MEMBERS: The October meeting is your chance to change, add, or delete some of the rules you like or dislike. We will be discussing any and all rules and the 2006 Tournament schedule for a vote at the November meeting in preparation for the next year. So here is your chance to voice your opinions. It would be really nice to see everybody there.
2005 Open Results:

1st Place: Corey and Tracy Mitchell 21.18 lbs
2nd Place: Jeff Gibson and Jeff Cooke 18.64 lbs
3rd Place: Lance Luper and Kerry Kirchenwitz 14.96 lbs
4th Place: Kelly Lee and Terry King 14.92 lbs
Big Fish: Corey and Tracy Mitchell 3.92 lbs
We had a pretty good turn out with 13 boats; however our clubs member’s support was pretty slim. A special Thank You goes out to Trina Davis, Dixie Ross and Charma Cooke for setting up everything and making sure that things ran smoothly.
Also a Big Thank You goes to Eddie Delonas and Brant Davis for their work at getting sponsors.
The club meeting attendance is growing smaller at each meeting, this is YOUR club lets see some support.
The next tournament is at Ririe on Saturday September 24th, then Saturday October 1st at Milner.
The next meeting is on Tuesday October 4th at Tom’s in Idaho Falls at 7:00 pm.
