October 2005 Newsletter
Fishing season is coming to an end for this year but we still have a lot to do at the Club level so please plan on attending the next few meetings.
There was a motion and a second to approve the September meeting minutes.
Warren was not able to attend the meeting so there was a handout with the open results. We had a very small profit, so we need to work to improve the number of boats that participate in our 2006 open. There was a motion and a second to approve the report.
Youth: The casting for kids event in Boise will be held on November 12, the club will give $100.00 to each child to help cover expenses, and they will be given the money when they get to Boise.
Conservation: Eddie reported that the regulations will remain the same until 2008. The opening of the bird sanctuary is still undecided; the state federation is involved on PRO side.
Federation: At last Idaho has reached the 500 member status.
October 9th Scale of justice at C.J. Strike contact Larry Raganit still need boaters. This event was written up last year in the Bass Times.
November 3rd 2006 tournament scheduling at Nampa 7:00p.m. contact Bruce Flesher.
November 5th Snow Bowl at C. J. Strike contact Steve Spickelmier.
November 12th at Boise Idaho State Championship Casting Kids, 2006 State Team meeting and the banquet to introduce all of the champions of youth, the 2006 State Team and others that will be recognized in the state federation.

New Business: Nominations and unanimous votes were obtained for the following offices:
Vice President: Brandt Davis, Treasurer: Warren Ross, Secretary: Charma Cooke
The proposed changes to the Bylaws and the Tournament Rules were reviewed and will be voted on at the November meeting, please read your enclosed copy and come to the November meeting with your comments or suggestions.
A motion was made to change the name of the club please bring your suggestions or comments to the November meeting for a vote.
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday November 1, 2005 at Toms. Hope to see EVERYBODY there.
